"A and E receptionist extremely rude"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

I arrived in A and E early morning on Monday 17th March 2014 accompanying a patient. I went straight to reception and stood there without being acknowledged by the male receptionist for a good few minutes. He continued to type on his computer and carry out his work as if I was not there and without even looking at me. When he did finally acknowledge me it was with a grumpy face and in an abrupt manner. I found this incredibly rude and feel this receptionist should be pulled up and trained in how to deal with the general public. I looked for a feedback form in the hospital but were nowhere to be seen. I work for the NHS myself and whilst the other staff in A and E could not be faulted, this member of staff's manner was obnoxious and unacceptable.
