"Brilliant treatment in A&E at unearthly hour"

Just to thank everyone who helped my mum in the early hours of Saturday morning after she'd had a fall and cut her head badly. We arrived at 02:45 and she was admitted almost immediately. The checks were comprehensive and carried out by lovely staff and the treatment was under way quite quickly even though the department was fairly busy - everyone we saw was so kind and good humoured even at that time. They were very reassuring and looked after my 82 year-old mum beautifully. I was even offered a cup of coffee - very, very welcome, thank you. Everything that was done was fully explained and I was able to take her home in a little over 3 hours. Can't fault the staff, the treatment or the speed of service.
