About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I am concerned about the time it is taking to re-book an appointment. I am seen every four months so I would expect that within a week or two of my last visit I would receive confirmation of an appointment four months hence. However it is taking longer and longer to confirm these appointments. My last visit was 13th January and today, two months later I have yet to receive my appointment date. Many of us have busy diaries and plan ahead so the later the appointment is confirmed the higher the risk that it clashes with another appointment or holiday. I cannot understand why it takes two months or more to diary a regular appointment and the later it happens the higher the risk that the appointment gets pushed beyond the four months requested by the consultant. This area of service requires attention.
