When I was at ramac ward they were busy and I did have a long wait ehich was understandable the main reason for the review was the cleanliness I was treated on a bed I was asked to move for another lady I took a seat and the lady got on the bed she had dressing s on and they dropped on the floor these were soiled with blood and was left on the floor through out the day. The lady went home and then they had another patient go on the bed the bed had never been changed at all. The health assistant came to take blood she had dirt under her nails and never wore gloves then she picked a blood tranfusion bag on the floor dripped blood she wiped it up with a dry tissue then left a mark all this time with no gloves I have been on other wards which have been ok but this was shocking.
