I went to this hospital to see one of the so called resident Consultant Neurologists over giving an opinion as to whether I had a seizure or not and therefore regaining my HGV licence and livelihood. After much obfuscation I have ended up with a vague wholly ambiguous letter to the DVLA which does not address the points I asked for. Besides costing me £210 for the said letter which for all it is worth I may as well barked at the moon and threw the money in its direction I have found the staff at the hospital extremely unhelpful in dealing with the matter. Fairfield Hospital is a money spinning centre for certain individuals and isn't interested in providing a decent service for its fee paying clients. My advice is keep away and wait for an appointment with the NHS....
