I have had the pleasure of being able to have my multiple knee operations in QA over the years after being transferred from the great hospital ( never should have been closed) that was HASLAR. As an ex Army Medic I believe in and demand a very high standard of care from first contact through consultation and finally discharge. Despite the odd small hiccup that comes to all large organisations, I cannot praise highly enough the level of professionalism of all staff who have always offered the best of care and knowledge of their profession to me. I can honestly say that in all the time spent at QA that I have also never seen a member of the public mistreated and trust me, I am very observant. The only gripe I have is that it is pretty difficult to get the information needed when trying to find out information regarding appointment dates etc. I always feel that I am causing the person an inconvenience. It may be only my perception but as someone who talks to customers on a daily basis, sometimes the staff sound, how to say, grumpy. It would be great if there was a way of being able to check an appointment online as I can at my local GP. People can register for the online service and receive a special code so that there are no data protection issues. Other than that, than you and carry on the fantastic work.
"Impressive."
