"Our stay in Ward 25"

About: King's Mill Hospital

I was apprehensive at the news my 12 year old daughter required admission to your hospital due to the negative publicity hospitals receive in newspapers and on TV. Poor hygiene standards, feeling frustration at poor communiction, etc,etc. I didn't know whether to feel relief or dread. I can honestly say that every member of your staff were fantastic and my fear soon faded. Your staff on ward 25 (surgical) were kind, professional and very supportive. My daughter could not have received better treatment if we had chosen to go private. The ward was scrupulously clean, communication was excellent, the nurses were fantastic even though very busy. We felt genuinely cared for and cannot thank them enough. Every member of the team deserve a huge thank you. My daughters every need (and mine) was catered for beyond expectation. Thank you to all who helped us through a worrying time. Lisa & Lydia
