I was referred to the Dermatology department by my GP. My appointment was for 11.30 and I had no trouble getting a parking space (the price of parking is a lot cheaper than at Preston and there is a town car park nearby if the hospital one is full). I did have some initial problems in finding the right department, but once I got there, everything went well. The consultant was very pleasant and made sure he only talked to me in privacy. He decided to have a biopsy taken and then found out that there was an appointment free for curretage and cauterisationand decided to have the whole area of skin removed straight away. The doctor and nurses who performed this for me were friendly, kind and informative. I was back in my car again within 40 minutes of my original appointment with the whole job done and no pain. All I have to do now is wait for the results. Fantastic service, lovely people.
"Efficient and friendly service."
