"Care during my short stay"

About: Alexandra Hospital

I am referring to my latest short stay after my previous one was cancelled at very short notice because of a shortage of beds. I believe the staff worked hard to overcome this problem and my short stay went very. I can find only praise for all aspects of the care I received and the care I could see was given to other patients in the ward. I found the food very varied wholesome, tasty with plenty of drinks in between. I was very pleased to be able to discuss arrangements with the anaesthetists and other consultants. The post-operative attention was excellent. I suppose I am very happy about the outcome too. The only criticism is that when some inevitable delays occur that sometimes the reason for this is not relaid back to the patient and a new time given to that patient when to expect to go to theatre.
