"Stroke treatment"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

My mother suffered a stroke at the most inconvenient time Thursday night before Good Friday. She then had to wait 5 hours in A&E and was not offered any treatment for 5 days. By this time the full effect of the stroke had taken hold and she was left paralysed. She now has to attend hospital at her own expense the hospital refusing to accept any responsibility. She was 62 and all her hopes and dreams for an enjoyable retirement have since been dashed. The L&D refused any offer of help. She worked full time for 40 years contributing to the NHS which when she needed FAILED her. If you are ill make sure it is between Mon to Fri 9.00am to 5pm. Unable to enter correct date
