About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I would just like to offer my feedback about the care my son has received at Sunderland Hospital after his recent visit. Finn had his finger trapped in a door and after visiting a drop on centre was referred to A and E and then F63 for an operation since then he has had several review appointments. Each and every Doctor, Nurse, receptionist, radiographer and cleaner we came into contact with has been fantastic. Polite, helpful, genuinely caring and took time to build a great rapport with my Son. I'm not an easily pleased customer, after all my children are the most precious thing in the world so I watch intently at what people are, doing writing and especially cleanliness but not once have I been made to feel like my questions are over the top or unnecessary. With the pressures the government have the NHS under I get that this service is no mean feat but I wanted to say that we (the public) appreciate the amazing job you do to take care if our loved ones. Thank you for taking the time to leave such positive feedback regarding your son's care recently. Being in hospital is an anxious time, particularly so for parents of young children and it was good to read that the quality of the service you received met with your high expectations. Our staff work hard to ensure they deliver the very best care and we will ensure the sentiments are shared with them. Thank you once again.
