"Lack of basic human requirements, i.e. warmth"

About: The Royal London Hospital

Patient suffering with kidney failure & pneumonia and feeling very cold, only a sheet on the bed and no blankets as none were delivered to the ward, none were and they went through the night like this and none this am, it is not your typical 'hot' hospital ward, I was freezing whilst visiting and kept coat on and I rarely feel cold indoors. Have to buy a blanket and take in this afternoon. Also, Asked to speak to charge nurse to see what is happening with treatment plan and after 6 hrs of waiting asking 4 times gave up. Not good enough, we pay a huge of NI and even if we didn't it is not a good service. Diabetic and on renal diet, no specialist care in this area and is continuing to loose weight , supposed to be given high cal snacks between meals, this has never happened, lucky to get a cup of tea as they are 'short staffed' .. Rant over, I just want my loved one to have basic kind and considerate care......
