"My experience of the physiotherapy was very positive"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I was referred for physiotherapy by my GP in October but hear nothing approaching Xmas and when I phoned to check it we discovered my referral had gone missing.

I was contacted very quickly by the Maddocks Clinic and given an appointment immediately. My experience of the physiotherapy was very positive and helpful and Amanda helped me to understand my condition and through doing the exercises she gave me I am beginning to see some improvement in my mobility.

Dear 'Lizard170'

Thank you for talking the time to give us feedback regarding your referral.

I am sorry to hear that your GP did not refer you when they said they would in October. Unfortunately TRAQS can only process referrals once they are received from the GP's practice. We then aim to contact the patient within 5 working days of receiving the referral to offer the patient choice.

TRAQS are pleased to note that your referral once received by the Maddocks Physiotherapy Clinic was dealt with professtionally and that you are feeling the benefit from the exercises that they have given you. I will pass your comments onto the Maddocks Clinic so that they can share your experience with the team.

Many Thanks again for your comments
