"Told appointment was cancelled when I arrived at the hospital"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Made my appointment with TRAQS, had a letter from the hospital to confirm.

When I arrived at hospital they told me it had been cancelled, I did not have a letter to confirm that.

Although your referral was processed by the TRAQS team we note that your comments relate to Princess Royal Hospital NHS Trust/Royal Shrewsbury Hospital NHS Trust and as such we are unable to comment on their behalf. However, at the time of speaking to you to arrange your appointment TRAQS would have advised you that your appointment maybe subject to change; however, in this event the hospital should have contacted you immediately.

In the circumstances please may we direct you the Patient Advice Liaison Officer (PALS). They will be able to take your comments further on behalf of the individual hospital concerned.
