About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

The first thing which struck me was the very friendly atmosphere. It immediately put me at ease. Years of regular appointments made the Staff feel like old friends. Nothing was too much trouble, I was eventually declared free of cancer,and have been for over three years now. The improvement over hospital treatment in the 1940.s was unbelievable.

Dear Ron Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am so pleased that even through such a significant event as cancer you have found the ward to be so welcoming and the staff like old friends. I will pass on your kind words to the department as I am sure they will welcome them. It is good to hear that you have been in remission for 3 years now and I wish you well for the future.
