About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital

I've been coming to Worcestershire Royal hospital, and, previously, to Worcester Royal Infirmary, for aproximately 18 years now. Apart from very occasional slips where the doctor's haven't communicated with me, but done so with the people with me instead, as I'm registered Blind, my care in ENT, has been excellent, and also my care on Rushout and Bonica wards at Worcester Royal Infirmary, and Beech Head and Neck at Worcestershire Royal hospital. On the last occasion I visited ENt, which was on 13th of March this year (3,45 appointment), the clinic was running an hour behind, but I appreciate that this happens sometimes. Even though she was having to deal with complaints from some patients, the receptionist was as warm and friendly as always. The lady audiologist, who called me in for my hearing tests was also really warm and friendly, and also explained one of the tests she did, as I hadn't had it done for many years and had often wondered what it was used to detect. We then went back out to the waiting room, and a lovely nurse called me in to see the doctor, apologising for the late running of the clinic, as she did for all previous patients too, which I thought was really good. The doctor, unfortunately, was one of those cases where he only asked me anything when strictly necessary, but my treatment went well. Keep up the good work, and well done, Worcestershire Royal.
