"Guinea Pig much !!"

I arrived for a walk in appointment at 6:40 am and was first in the line. By the time 7:30 came around there were roughly 15 people behind me so was very happy at the time I arrived. Was let in just before 7:30 was given a ticket and sat down to wait for 8:30 registration. Registered fairly quickly and was seen briefly to address problem. Staff are perfectly friendly and reassuring. Was sent upstairs for an X-ray around 11, X-ray had to be taken twice because she missed the tooth the first time lol. Was sent back down with X-rays and then another hour waitbefore I was back upstairs and ready for my extraction. I was seen by two male student dentist who seemed to be "practicing" for their dental exam. Even though scared of needles and just pain and dentists in general I am a very calm person so didn't mind the students "having a go". I was injected several times and the extraction site was still sensitive to touch so injected a few more times the injections still hurt three days later. Once I was totally numb the student got to work digging and digging and digging for the broken tooth there were two roots to get out and after 10 mins of digging at my gum I was introduced to a qualified dentist who pulled the first root out in 30 secs. My second root was then left to the mercy of the student, commence the digging ! He just couldn't seem to get the root and although I was numb it felt as if he was pushing the root deeper. 15 mins later of more uncomfortable digging and the professional dentist comes back to again pull the root out within 30 secs. The dentist then flies off again, my mouth was full off blood when the student put a gauze pad in, thinking about it now I'm sure my mouth should have been rinsed out ! They were extremely friendly students but wish they were supervised the entire time. They were unsure of whether a clot had formed and now I think it didn't as I'm in 10x more pain then when I came in. Can't sleep or eat. Even when I'm popping strong painkillers. The staff are great the set up is wonderful with the little funding I'm sure they receive but I'm currently in severe pain. Proceed with caution.
