"Great service at Southampton General Hospital A&E"

Lovely ambulance staff took my 85 year old mum to Soton A&E.

All the staff were wonderful, and looked after her with humour, kindness and speed. From the A&E receptionist who was thoughtful and kind to me, the doctor with the irish accent who made her smile and made sure she got the pain meds she needed, the nurses who introduced themselves clearly, so Mum knew who was who (something that is so easily confusing for an old person), the X-ray staff who were great, even though the equipment wasn't working properly.

To finish off, the physio who looked after her and checked her out and couldn't have been more helpful and gave mum a real confidence boost and lots of advice and support for going home. Many thanks
