My partner visited her GP several times throughout last year with regards to her mental health & only after a severe attempt to harm herself & again after a suicide attempt was she not fobbed off by the practice but referred Argyll House. She has since been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder & inspite of our greatest efforts have watched the options for treatment dissintegrate.
No pathway was given, they tried to shoehorn her into group sessions which is completely unsuitable to her & I believe they have neglected to meet any of the NICE guidelines surrounding the condition bar not being given medication to help stabilise her mood/anger.
This has now been ongoing for the best part of a year.
