Was admitted on 13th January 2014 for surgery and spent 3 weeks. On total bed rest prior to surgery informed staff of severe allergy to morphine but Dr.s. decided to ignore which resulted in cardiac arrest I only survived due to quick actions of Dr who. happened. to be. on ward. at the time. After a week was transferred to another ward so had to explain allergy again which was. ignored despite it being on medical records was transferred to. another ward again allergy was ignored staff just don.t seem to read medical notes and don.t listen when informed of allergy and was wearing wrist band with allergy written on it . Are they not trained to read medical notes or listen to patients? Would definitely not. come back to this hospital as a patient and food needs urgent review I was. there for 4 weeks and same food appeared on menu again and again . On my last day on the ward they lost my medical notes so couldn't.t have any pain relief from breakfast time til I was finally discharged at 8.30pm. Several nights I needed a duty Dr to deal with extreme pain but was told I had to wait until my consultant visited me . Overall not impressed needs overhaul of systems and communication
