"Great Service from ambulance and hospital staff"

About: Royal United Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I was having chest pains so my wife rang for ambulance and they arrived within 5 minutes. The paramedics dealt with me very pleasantly and professionally.

Another crew turned up and took me to Bath R. U. H. Where I was treated with the the same care.

I have never had any issues with the care from NHS staff all the times (not often) my wife and I have needed emergency care.

Thank you.

Response from Sara Coburn, Patient Engagement Manager, Governance, South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I hope you are recovering well.

It is very rewarding to hear how our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to patients when they need it most.

We would like to pass on your thanks to the ambulance staff directly involved in your care, but in order to do this we will need a little more detail. May I ask you to contact me on either 01392 261 552 or sara.coburn@swast.nhs.uk at your convenience and we can talk about the event a little further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We are very grateful.
