"I was not given a choice of hospitals"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

I was not given a choice of hospitals, although I told TRAQS that it was difficult for me to come to RSH and strange that my first appointment was for 6pm. For a 72-year-old to drive in the winter dark and back, I have no carer to bring me to.

Although the pain clinic appointment with doctors was good, I wasn’t happy overall.

I have disc problems so distance driving is painful.

Thank you for your feedback.

As all feedback is anonymous, without further information it is impossible for me to comment on the circumstances relating to your referral. If you would like to contact me at TRAQS on 01952 580441 I will be happy to look into how your referral was managed. Normally, patient's are offered a choice of location, date and time of where they can attend their appointment unless there are circumstances where this option is not available.

I hope you do contact me as I would like the opportunity to ensure that our service is maintained at the highest level.
