About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

Having got to the stage of seeing the surgeon, I wrongly thought that it would be all down hill and that things would be moving along,( But no) after seeing the surgeon and filling in consent forms for the op i was directed to reception with papers in hand to have pre op assessment , but no things are never that easy, I was told that they could not find my file! The doctor had all the information on the screen but that's not good enough i needed the hard copy of my notes before they would do the pre op assessment , i was asked if i could wait so they could find the file, (i was prepared to wait for an hour but, after ten mins of waiting i was told that they still could not find them. This is outrageous that they did not spend any time looking for my file (How can they mislay a patients records) I will know have to go back when they find the file more time waiting and time out of work ! Not happy years of pain just more to endure so how much longer do I wait
