What could be improved

The we don't care, were just being polite to keep our jobs attitude of the Triage nurse and the receptionists in A&E was infuriating after the 4 hours we were waiting we got no indication of exactly how much longer we would be waiting ( advertised time of 2 - 2 1/2 hrs from seeing Triage nurse was a blatant lie).

Anything else?

My partner had visited her Doctor and been referred to see a Gynaecologist through A&E.

We eventually left without seeing anyone due to the uncomfortable seats and the freezing cold waiting room causing even more distress to my partners condition, and the option of going home to a comfortable and warm environment were she could relax to ease the pain and also arrange to go either go private or to a different hospital where the staff would hopefully be more professional and understanding.

In any other industry a company whose staff treated customers like this and who left customers waiting for so long without any indications of why or how long would have closed down years ago.
