waiting time in outpatient orthopeadic department.staff are alwaya freindly and polite.nearly always told when theres a delay.my consultant is very happy to answer my questions even if i dont always like what the answer is.ive seen the same consultant for the last 3 years.ive tried pain clinic like the consultant told me to.now i finely have the go ahead to have my knee replacement..pocu ward is always busy when ive had other operations on my knee.staff have always been kind and helpful.apart from one time where i was kept waiting till 4oclock to go down to theatre.then down in theatre they had 4 attempts to get canula in my hand.its not nice when you have a fear of needles.aftercare after surgery has been ok before you go up to the ward.apart from the embarassment of wetting my self and no offer from staff to be washed after this.treatment has been good once up on bembroke ward.even if they send you home abit to soon after surgery and in constant pain.its always a rush to get rid of you.looking forward to my knee replacement.iam going to ask for a catheter to be but inplace so i dont have the embarrasement of being wet after surgery.on the whole iam happy with medway maritime hospital
