What I liked
The A&E was being constantly cleaned and the flow of patients was fair to their needs. The staff were welcoming and understanding, the triage nurse was persistent in ensuring very ill patients were seen immediately. Security staff were very visible and dealt with one undesirable visitor (not patient) very effectively. Once through to the treatment area, it was a swift turnaround from diagnosis to treatment then discharge.
What could be improved
The calling of patients, one person shouting across a very noisy waiting area isn't very effective. A few people did not realise they had been called until they enquired and were told they had been discharged because they missed their name.
Anything else?
A&E is never a nice experience but it was made as good as can be practically possible.
