"A&E"

About: Leighton Hospital

We attended A&E and booked in with a man on the desk who was very helpful and understanding, the care was very good the doctor kept me informed throughout and it assured me I was in safe hands. The only thing I would say is the cleanliness of the children's waiting area in A&E where my children were waiting. The whole floor was dirty and the toy's could do with improving.

Thank you for all your comments. I apologise for the condition of the children’s area . This has been raised with the appropriate personnel in order to review the current domestic service. I very much appreciate your lovely comments regarding the team. We believe it is very important that patients are always treated with care and compassion and kept informed to reduce anxiety and I am pleased to hear that this was your experience. Sue Talbot-Crosby, Matron, Emergency Department
