Communication between staff and patients

I was sent by my GP for a blood test (suspectedDVT) I arrived at about 5.15pm at the GP assessment centre. Blood was taken and I was told it would be about 90 mins before result. At 9pm I was moved to a waiting room in A&E "as this department is closing" I was finally seen by a doctor at about 11.30pm.
I think if I hadn't had a DVT when I arrived I would have had one after an almost 7hour wait!!!!!
