After a shaky start with my spinal discectomy surgery being cancelled at the eleventh hour on Friday 21st I was very fortunate to be re arranged under a extremely professional consultant. He explained everything to me and although I had to wait until aprox 3 o'clock on Tuesday 25th March I was kept updated by the staff on the SAL unit. The lovely man took me to surgery where I was greeted by the consultant, one of the anesthetists and one of the top anesthetists. Thank you for taking good care of me. Also thank you to the amazing nursing team on ward and all the others From having my disc problem diagnosed I was seen to very promptly and within a month had surgery The hospital is lovely and modern and I was very fortunate to be given a private room I hope my thanks to this wonderful team is passed on Many thanks Elizabeth Fiona McEwen
