"Day surgery third floor north"

About: Royal Free Hospital

Most staff were wonderful. One nurse who seemed to be the boss or 'in charge' but was wearing the same uniform as everyone else, was extremely rude and abrupt to patients and to their colleagues. Shouting at everyone and rushing everything. They were condescending when speaking to patients and had no respect for anyone he spoke to. Shouldn't be in the profession. Has no concept of compromise, communication or understanding of people' s lives and their social circumstances. They were incredibly rude when addressing my mother and myself, when I asked a question about her follow-up they shouted at me like I hadn't heard what they had already said.

I am very sorry the staff member was rude to you. If you would like to take this further you can contact our patient advice and liaison service at rfh.pals@nhs.net
