"Cataract operation, Jan. 2014"

About: Springfield Hospital

I was concerned on my arrival because the thought of the procedure was very unnerving but my worries were soon history. From initial reception, through prep, the actual opration and post op instructions it was clear that everyone involved wanted me to be relaxed and enjoy the experience. The staff are clearly aware that a relaxed patient is good for everyone and went out of their way to ensure a smooth, successful process, it was a classic team exercise. The result is that the op was a complete success and I'm looking forward to having my second procedure.

Here at Springfield, we understand that visiting a hospital can be an unnerving experience, but we are glad our staff could offer reassurance and put you at ease. I have passed your kind words onto the relevant staff. Thank you for your feedback.
