"From A & E to having required operation"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

From being told at every step that the operation I required was urgent to now finding out that 2 and a half weeks is the best I can expect and that could still be cancelled. I dare not write exactly how I feel. I would like to believe that what I am being told is the truth based on a departments ability not something that is based on a guess, and that's being kind. example, you get given verbal appointments by consultants only to find that these appointments are not achievable (the comment from a nurse). You get given a verbal appointment for an operation only to find out the actual date will be a week later. Tell the truth and not what you believe people want to hear
