This lady is a care assistant in a local residential home. She was injured in the shoulder after an assault by a resident. Had private MRI scan at Bridgewater Hospital then physio at Ashton Primary Care Centre and a steroid injection into shoulder.
There is apparently a difference of opinion between GP and physio about future treatment. Advised by physio to rest shoulder for 2 weeks, but she can’t get a sick note from GP until she provides paperwork to show scan result. Meanwhile afraid she will lose income if she doesn’t return to work, but there is no way she can “rest” shoulder at work, as it is a physically demanding job.
She feels reception staff at surgery not allowing her to make appointment to see doctor.
