"Mr Lester - Brilliant Thyroplasty"

I had an operation on my vocal chords last November. I have had a great deal of hospital involvement and feel that this experience was by far the most positive. I felt informed and respected. When my first operation was cancelled, gown and stockings and all, the surgeon came, explained the unavoidable situation and apologised. This operation, unlike my others, was elective but I feel I was treated as though my circumstances were urgent. Since having this operation my life has changed and I am so happy that the whole experience was made so positive by this man and his fantastic team.
