"Day surgery in Sandbourne Suite"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

The nurses, anesthetist and surgeon in this department who I saw were wonderful. I was so nervous and my blood pressure was high but they did everything that they could to relax me. I was able to wait with my husband until the nurse called me through to an area where there are lots of lovely magazines to read. The banter and friendliness of the staff was just what I needed to try and take my mind off the situation. After the operation I was offered a drink and a sandwich which was most welcome. At the end of it all I was worrying about nothing. Would definitely recommend.
