We are a local primary school in the Mansfield area. We arranged for Wendy to come to school and conduct a workshop on each year group about the benefits of eating 5 fruit and vegetables a day. We also combined this with a healthy schools week called 'Farmilo's fighting fit'. We planned for lots of sporting activities and events and cooking using fruit and vegetables. Parents were invited into the end of week school assembly to celebrate the end products. A fun and educational time was had by all. A big thank you to Wendy for her time.

It is great to hear the comments regarding the 5 a day workshops that Wendy delivered which were able to support your healthy school week. I am pleased to hear that you felt that the school workshops were fun whilst also being educational and that you were able to involve the parents as well as the children. I hope therefore that some of the key messages delivered are transferred into the home environment.
