What I liked
Very caring staff, particularly the night my relative was taken, critically ill (with a massive stroke) to the hospital. Staff provided endless numerous hot drinks to the five of us through the night. My relative is clean and well-cared for and staff are respectful and communicative to her and to her relatives and friends. It appears to me to be a well-organised and caring hospital. I particularly appreciated the use of a good canteen and the use of the Citizens Advice Bureau.
What could be improved
I have a slight concern that my relative is not being helped to take enough fluids.
Anything else?
The website and other information services are excellent.
I would far rather be ill at Arrowe Park Hospital than in my local hospital in the Isle of Man!
