The service I have received has been exceptional, fractured my wrist whilst working away in Rotherham and had to wait 7 hours before being seen!.Although when I did get seen, the staff were very good.Travelled back to Birmingham and got booked in for surgery, exactly one week later. The surgeon inserted metal plates and screws into it.The next day I was in agony and visited the hospital again,I was seen by another surgeon who put my arm in a cast, which I kept on for one week. Both of these surgeons were utter professionals throughout everything, explaining all I needed to know in a concise and clear manner. This was in mid October 2013,I have since been back for further surgery to have the metalwork removed on March 6th 2014,this was performed by a young lady who's name I can't remember, she was as equally professional. All of my physiotherapy has been with an expert who puts you at total ease and more importantly knows his job.Went back the next day and saw another physiotherapist, told him that I have limited use of my shoulder and he said he thinks it is frozen, probably due to the lack of use after my wrist surgery. So I will now be seeing a different physiotherapist,to work on both my wrist and shoulder. All in all the service I have received has been fantastic throughout,I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who treated me and looked after me,all with sheer professionalism throughout my visits.
