"Staff were amazing :)"

I took my son to the A and E department with a Testicular Torsion. The department was busy but my son was assessed and seen straight away. For a boy of 14 and in puberty he found it very difficult to be looked at in the lower region, I was amazed by how the staff aimed to keep my sons dignity, He was treated as of his age should and all his wishes were respected. My son takes pain well and has had a few testers along the way but to see him in such pain was quite overwhelming, I was reassured and talked through every step of the way . I must give a special mention to one member of staff on A and E who was amazing and fulfilled my sons needs in everyway.. Thank You, an amazing credit to the NHS and Bedford hospital. My son had to have surgery and I was talked through and guided through every step of his journey of recovery. Amazing, Keep up the good work :)
