"Superb from start to finish"

I was unfortunate enough to take a tumble down the stairs resulting in a broken ankle. Whilst my first port of call was Alnwick Hospital it was to the Wansbeck fracture clinic that I went the following day for a proper assessment. From the patient assistance volunteer who got me a wheelchair at the front door after seeing me struggle on crutches to the appointments clerk through the Dr, Nurses, everyone in X Ray and finally the 2 ladies in the Casting Rooom (who deserve a special mention for their super service and fabulous personalities!) everyone went out of their way to help me and where so very friendly. I was in and out within 2 hours which I think is very good for 2 visits with the Dr, 3 X Rays and finally a cast on my ankle. The Dr apologised for keeping me waiting but at no point did I feel I was waiting any longer than was necessary given how busy the department was. A big thank you to everyone involved in my care and of course the trust for running such a superb Hospital I'm proud to have as my local :-)
