"Stay on Jackson Burrows"

About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore)

I was in for four days on Jackson Burrows a very busy short stay ward, where I had a high tibial osteotomy, following a hit and run accident 20 years ago. I wanted to feedback about the high standard of care I received from the nursing and professional team. The ward is so busy and the nurses work non stop but I was always given time and respected. They also kept me happy with there warm sense of humour. I was so worried about the operation but was put at ease and reassured by the surgeons and given time to ask questions. When my family came to pick me up they told me I looked like I had been on a health farm as I looked so well! Thanks so much, the RNOH is invaluable and I was lucky to have my operation there...and the food was also fantastic! Susan Turner.
