"Husband's experience of day care in Urology."

We arrived at the hospital at 8.30 am and were seen almost immediately by a lovely nurse. After being introduced to a more senior nurse we were taken to radiology for my husband to have a kidney scan. The nurse sat and chatted with us while we waited and after about 5 minutes he went in. That was over in less than 15 minutes and we then went to the reception area where we waited again only about 5 minutes. The nurse asked several questions and my husband went for his cystoscopy. He had been dreading this examination but he didn't even know it was being done! We were home by 10.30am after a very pleasant experience. The staff at Urology are so kind and patient and extremely polite. These tests are never a pleasant experience but they make it as dignified and comfortable as it is humanly possible to do. My husband said that if he had paid thousands of pounds for private treatment he could not have been treated better. Carry on the good work EDGH!
