"Colonoscopy"

I attended the North East London NHS Treatment Centre in King George hospital, Goodmayes, for a an initial consultation and then the actual colonoscopy. I did not wait more than a week from my GP referral to a letter and phone call to arrange the consultation. The consultation was done by two very professional consultants; they both explained the procedure very clearly and put me at ease. On the day of the procedure, I received a friendly reception first from the receptionist - who was expecting me - and then the rest of the team. Clerking in, the procedure and discharge were all efficient and carefully done. I am a thoroughly satisfied patient and would like to thank everyone for my first class treatment.
