"The staff on the ward could not do enough for me"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I was unfortunate to have to be admitted to Pearl Ward due to a kidney infection.

The staff on the ward could not do enough for me. I did not have to ask for anything. They were there to allay my fears and reassure me at every opportunity.

My thanks not only goes to them but the porters and volunteer who made the best cup of tea ever.

My only issue is that there were other patients there that could not be pleased regardless of what the staff did which I think is very unfair on those that were working really hard.

Thank you for your feedback following your stay on Pearl Ward

I was very pleased to read that the staff did all that they could to ensure your stay was made comfortable and that all your fears were made less frightening by the constant reassurance and information updates to keep you informed of your ongoing treatment.

The experience of patients often depends on getting the basics right and I believe your stay was made up of many positive interactions with all the staff involved in your care.
