"Still not getting anywhere"

I gave birth at this hospital in November 2011 (don't get me started on how bad that was, for one thing I gave birth at 10am and they weren't able to give me a glass of water until 3am the following morning) and 2 years and 4 months later I am still in a lot of pain and not getting anywhere. In January I saw a consultant and I thought that I was finally getting somewhere. He wanted to put me to sleep and investigate my problems fully and fix everything all at the same time because I have been messed around so much. One of the procedures he wanted to do when I was asleep was a colposcopy (looking at my cervix using a magnifier) he wanted to do this because giving birth has caused a hole inside me where it shouldn't be and he wanted to determine the exact size and location and then fix it. Also I have a cervical ectropion which he wanted to get a better look at and cauterise. However, the Doctor that performs the colposcopy wouldn't let the consultant perform it while I was asleep and insisted that he did it himself. So I went along yesterday for a colposcopy (which apparently) is suppose to be painless. Colposcopies are usually used when smear tests come back abnormal but like I said this wasn't why I was having it done. However, since this is the only reason why the doctor I saw yesterday does them this was the only thing he was willing to check. He took 4 biopsies from my cervix which was absolute agony, it was so painful. The nurse was shocked that it hurt so much because usually it doesn't but since I have lots of other things wrong this is probably why it hurt. I ended up losing a lot of blood (which I am still losing) and a day and a half later I am still in extreme pain. The most annoying thing is that the doctor said that he wasn't able to 'fix' or cauterise anything or to look for the holes and that will all need to be done while I am asleep. That is what the consultant wanted to do in the first place but this doctor went over his head and performed an extremely painful pointless procedure on me. So as you can guess I am not happy. He even gave me a copy of the letter he is sending to my GP which says that I was referred to him after my smear test which is complete rubbish. My smear test was fine but I still ended up having an extremely painful and pointless biopsy done. And now I am having to wait again for another appointment
