"Cancer Operation"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I recently had to attend Medway for a cancer Operation on the 3rd March, this was my first visit to the hospital. So you can imagine my wife and I were both scared and lost in more ways than one. From the Pre Op day right through to my discharge I was treated with respect, kindness and exceptional care. we were kept informed at a all stages on what was happening and our options. The treatment from the operating staff and the recovery and McCulloch Ward were well beyond anything I expected. All your staff are a credit to the NHS. I am recovering at Home now but felt I had to enter this review to express my thanks to your brilliant Staff.

I have informed the team and the ward of your comments and ensured that they share this with the staff accordingly. I am delighted to hear that we communicated with you throughout your treatment and that you were pleased with the care, kindness and respect that you received. I hope you are recovering well from your surgery and again thank you for you feedback. Samantha Goldberg Associate Director of Operations – Surgery, Anaesthesia & Theatres
