"Cancer Operation"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I recently had to attend Medway for a cancer Operation on the 3rd March, this was my first visit to the hospital. So you can imagine my wife and I were both scared and lost in more ways than one. From the Pre Op day right through to my discharge I was treated with respect, kindness and exceptional care. we were kept informed at a all stages on what was happening and our options. The treatment from the operating staff and the recovery and McCulloch Ward were well beyond anything I expected. All your staff are a credit to the NHS. I am recovering at Home now but felt I had to enter this review to express my thanks to your brilliant Staff.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your recent patient experience. I have informed the team and the ward of your comments and ensured that they share this with the staff accordingly. I am delighted to hear that we communicated with you throughout your treatment and that you were pleased with the care, kindness and respect that you received. I hope you are recovering well from your surgery and again thank you for you feedback. Samantha Goldberg Associate Director of Operations – Surgery, Anaesthesia & Theatres
