"Problems over which order patients are seen"

About: Community Health Services / Podiatry

(as the patient),

I come to your clinic every couple of months to have my toe nails cut and usually see Margaret.

I have always found her cheerful and pleasant and always does a good job on my nails.

If I had to say a complaint it is with your way of putting cards with numbers out. If they were put out early, at say 8am.

Yes I know you don’t start til 9-10am. But a lot of people, including myself, arrive early. By this time the cards are put out.

Many a time there is a problem with people arguing about who is first and what order they are in. I can’t see any reason you can’t put them out early. It saves all the problems.

Thank you.

Dear Celestial790

Thank you for your posting and kind comments about our service. You also provided useful feedback about the order in which patients are seen. In relation to your comment around the timing of the patient numbers being made available to patients attending the Podiatry Walk-In clinics at Nutgrove Villa, I understand your frustration of queue jumping and can only apologise for any upset caused. I have therefore asked the staff on reception at Nutgrove if they would put the numbers out for patients to take from 8.00 am to attempt to resolve this problem as patients can then take a number as they enter the clinic. Obviously I will carry on monitoring this issue to check it has resolved.

With best wishes
