My relative recently was inpatient on ward 17 all the staff fron those who kept the ward clean, gave out meals to the nurses ,therapists and doctors were great caring and compassionate . The only thing which I would only give 2-3 stars would be the food the stay was 3 weeks and every single day it was the same menu for both lunch and supper and served on cold plates which took the heat out of the meal so served up cold. Take a tip from James Martin nhs meals website

Hi J D Thank you for taking the time to provide your constructive feedback. We’re really pleased that you found our staff to be caring and compassionate. But it is disappointing that your experience of the food wasn’t quite as good. We are very sorry about that. We will be in touch with Interserve, who provide catering at Leicester’s Hospitals, to see what they can do to ensure the plates aren’t cold when serving a hot meal and what they can do to update their menus more regularly.
