"Attending MAS has given me confidence"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Mental Health Services for Older People – Inpatient

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Before I attended the Memory Assessment Service I had all sorts of thoughts about what was wrong with me, it was like being hit on the head with a building brick, it was very frightening. Getting to know what was wrong with me has put my mind at reast. Attending MAS has given me confidence. I still make the odd mistake but don't we all.

I'm pleased that you found your experience to be positive because I know that the MAS staff try very hard to put people at ease and answer their questions clearly at what is a very anxious time.
