"Very rude staff in the appointments department"

I phoned to make an appointment for a follow-up with a consultant after a VBAC appointment. The lady in the appointments department who picked up my call was very rude and abrupt, not wanting to be helpful at all. An appointment was already booked for me 2 days later, but as I hadn't received the letter, I was not aware of it. When I mentioned that the reason I phoned was because I hadn't received the appointment letter, she got more annoyed and gave me very minimal details of the appointment. When I asked where I had to meet with the consultant, she very abruptly replied "the same place as where the VBAC is". I thought she would have understood the reason for my question when I told her that I hadn't received the appointment letter! I certainly don't want to waste her time nor mine and I wouldn't have phoned if I had the letter would I?
